# Account Settings — psiLynx

Manage your profile, password, email notifications, and account deletion.

## Email verification

If your email is not verified, a yellow banner appears at the top of the Settings page with a Resend button to send a new verification email.

## Profile

- **Email** — read-only; cannot be changed
- **Full name** — editable

Click **Save** to apply changes.

## Security

The Security section is shown only for accounts registered with email and password. Google sign-in accounts do not see this section.

To change your password:
1. Enter your **Current password**.
2. Enter a **New password** (min. 10 characters, one uppercase letter, one digit, one special character).
3. Repeat it in **Confirm new password**.
4. Click **Change Password**.

## Email notifications

Three toggles control which emails psiLynx sends:

| Notification | When it's sent |
|---|---|
| Batch check completed | When a batch check finishes |
| Quota running low | When weekly quota exceeds 80% |
| Regression alert triggered | When a metric drops past a configured alert threshold |

Changes save automatically when you toggle a switch.

## Deleting your account

The **Danger Zone** card at the bottom of the page lets you permanently delete your account.

1. If you have a password: enter it in the confirmation field.
2. Click **Delete Account**.
3. Confirm in the dialog — a confirmation email is sent to your address.
4. Click the link in the email to complete the deletion.

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All projects, URLs, check history, and reports are deleted along with the account.
